Driving is about to be automated, rendering human driving obsolete. The automation of driving would leash a dramatic "transportation revolution", with profound societal impact. This revolution is likely to save the lives of at least one million people per year worldwide, but also eliminates tens of millions of jobs.
This talk will describe the technologies that are "driving" this revolution, and discuss its profound consequences.
