I’m a biophysicist from France and moved to Chicago to study collagen in tumors. I’ve been passionate about science communication for many years—writing articles and organizing events in my hometown. As both a science and beer connoisseur, I’m thrilled to bring Pint of Science back to Chicago!

I’m a plant biologist from France, currently researching plant genetics at the University of Chicago. I love creating in many forms—whether it’s designing logos, 3D printing, or crafting. Passionate about both science and creativity, I enjoy blending the two in my work and hobbies.

Weird guy who tries to make some jokes sometimes. Participating in the organization of this type of event allows me to merge my two passions: beers, and s̶c̶i̶e̶n̶c̶ whisky.

I am currently an NSF-MPS Ascend Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Yale University's Wright Laboratory. My current research involves investigating the strong nuclear interaction responsible for binding most of the visible matter in the observable Universe.

I am a third year cancer biology PhD student at the University of Chicago. I study how normal (non-cancer) stromal cells impact tumor progression. Specifically, I study how these cells, known as cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs), respond to the unique nutrient environment of pancreatic cancer.

I started my postdoc in University of Chicago from 2023 after getting my PhD from China. I have been studying gene expression regulation machinery from different angles by integrating large scale data and find the crosswalk among them. Excited about being part of the Pint of Science community!

I'm a plant biologist interested in how plants respond to environmental and biological stresses. My research focuses on gene regulation in these responses. I love the mix of science and real-world impact. Outside the lab, I love spending time in nature, hiking new trails and enjoying the outdoors.
